World Cup Alpine Skier “Mindset” Tricia Mangan Interview Fall 2022

⛷ Noon today, Olympian Tricia Mangan starts in the Women’s World Cup downhill season opener at The Lake Louise Ski Resort. Her #tenacity#planning, & #mindset should challenge us to level up our own #game. Good luck to all #athletes#gofast

? After working hard last season to earn a spot on the US Alpine team representing our country in Beijing, Tricia finished 11th in the Alpine Combine, the only American to finish.

?‍? Despite not being invited to be on the team this year, Tricia and fellow racer Canadian Stefani Fleckenstein designed their own Independent program, raised money, created their training regiment, and raised their game during a summer of training.

? Just like last year, never count out Tricia and Stefani as they strive to get a start at the Alpine World Championship in Courchevel Méribel 2023 in France in February 2023, the elite race held every two years.

?‍?‍?‍? As her Uncle and Godfather, our extended family and I could not be more proud of the tireless, upbeat, and humble example she sets.

? As I interviewed her on top of Copper Mountain a week before the season starts, I recognized the many lessons I could learn from her and share with my clients as we all progressed to level up our respective games. 1% better each day!

⛷ I look forward to sharing these “Lessons from Tricia” throughout the season.

Here’s Tricia’s video describing why she loves this sport.

Here’s Tricia’s Feb 2022 Olympic run, finishing 11th in Beijing and the only American to complete the Alpine Combine.
